# Managing pricing and plans

> Compare plans, understand Subframe AI credits, and manage your subscription.

Subframe offers Free, Pro, and Custom plans. Billing is managed separately for each team.

## Subframe AI credits

Subframe AI credits let you use models in Agent chat without connecting a Claude Code or Codex subscription. Each Admin and Editor receives a monthly credit allocation based on the team's plan and their seat tier. Credits reset each billing period.

To review your credits:

1. Open your account menu and select **Billing**
2. Find **AI Credits**

You can see your allocation, usage, and reset date. Admins can also review credit usage across the team and change each member's **Seat Tier**.

Increasing a seat tier adds credits immediately and charges a prorated amount. Decreasing a tier changes its price at the next renewal and its credit allocation at the next reset.

## Upgrading to Pro

1. Open your account menu and select **Billing**
2. Click **Upgrade** under **Pro**
3. Complete checkout in Stripe

Pro features activate after checkout. The cost is based on the team's Admin and Editor seats.

## Managing your subscription

Open **Billing** and click **Stripe portal** to update your payment method, view invoices, or cancel your subscription.

Only Admins can change the team's plan or billing details.

## Canceling or downgrading

Cancel your plan from the Stripe portal. Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.

When a team moves to Free, its existing projects, pages, and components remain available. You cannot create another project while the team is above the Free plan's one-project limit.

## Understanding billing changes

A prorated seat charge applies when an invited Admin or Editor joins a Pro team. Subframe shows the timing and cost before you confirm other seat or credit tier changes.
